As of January 2026, there will be a $5.00 quarterly charge added to all sewer and water bills — this is for anyone not set up for e-billing. To avoid this charge, a sewer and water consent form needs to be completed to sign up. See link below.
A penalty of 1.5%/month on sewer and water accounts in arrears is now in effect. Penalties will be levied on the first day of each month.
REMINDER
Please refrain from flushing down your sewer line anything that could cause a sewer blockage in your home or in the Town’s sewer system. Items that should definitely not be flushed include rags, clothing of any kind, disposable diapers, feminine hygiene products and flushable wipes (No, they should not be considered flushable!). Items like these mentioned can cause serious blockages in your home sewer system and the Town’s sewage system. Nobody wants to experience a sewage back-up in their home!
