Will be held on the second Thursday of each month at the Town Office commencing at 7:00 pm.
Personnel is responsible for employees, staff, public relations and morale. They set guidelines for employee salaries & benefits (vacation, sickness, superannuation, accident insurance, etc.), are responsible for recruitment, layoffs, severances, etc, and are responsible for reviewing Council renumeration and benefits. Personnel are responsible for creating, reviewing, updating, and recommending internal policies having to do with employees. Guided by the Chief Administrative Officer, Personnel oversees employee performance and qualification upgrading through meeting with staff annually.
Planning, Development & Infrastructure deals with matters generally relating to the functions of planning and development services specifically including planning and zoning, future community development, infrastructure development, infrastructure repair and/or replacement, machinery and equipment acquisition and repairs, street maintenance, sidewalk repairs and maintenance, street decorative lighting, road/street/traffic signs, signals and markings, tree management, and snow-related policies and procedures.
The Facilities Committee is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and
repair of public facilities. To maintain awareness and familiarity of facilities, an annual walkthrough of all facilities and subsequent preparation of a prioritized repair and maintenance list for presentation to Council is required. The Facilities Committee is responsible for creating, reviewing, updating, and recommending internal policies having to do with all town facilities including:

• Delisle AGT Centennial Arena
• Old Baseball fields & campgrounds
• Mowing and maintenance of the grass in rodeo grounds and surrounding the Outdoor Rink
• The Town Hall
• The Town Office
• The Town Workshop
The OHS/EM Committee will be responsible for both Town health and safety as well as emergency preparedness.
Having to do with health and safety, the OHS/EM Committee will be responsible for creating, reviewing, updating, and recommending internal policies having to do with health and safety matters such as: investigating, reviewing, and making resulting recommendations to the Council concerning hazardous incidents or workplace injuries, facilitation of smoke alarm and fire extinguisher testing and compliance, review of required or recommended safety training relating to the use of specialized equipment, developing preventative safety protocols to mitigate or avoid injury, recommending personal protective equipment for budgeting purposes, and promoting health and safety policies and programs for employees.
Having to do with emergency preparedness, in accordance with subsection 9(1) of The Emergency Planning Act, the Town of Delisle must appoint an emergency measures coordinator and establish a local emergency planning committee (aka OHS/EM Committee) of between 2-7 persons composed of the emergency measures coordinator and whomever else the Town considers necessary. The emergency measures coordinator shall act as the chairperson of the local OHS/EM Committee. The OHS/EM Committee will review, draft, and make recommendations to Council concerning the provision of necessary services during an emergency and the procedures and manner in which the Town will respond to an emergency.
Members of Council are also responsible for serving on various community committees, acting as representatives of Council and a liaison between the group and Council. These committees include:

The committee chairs are responsible for calling committee meetings and keeping committee members informed of any development or changes to areas of responsibility. They are responsible for regular committee reports to the Council at Council meetings.
Committee chairs are responsible for drafting recommendations which will improve the Town’s services and overall operation of Town business, such as equipment purchases and policy changes, to be reviewed at Council for approval.
