PLANNED WATER SHUTDOWN

On Monday, July 12th beginning at 9:00 A.M., the Town will be replacing 3 water main valves on or adjacent to 1st Street West. The water will have to be shut off during these repairs.

If other water main valves operate properly, water will only be shut off to all of 1st Street West, a small portion of 3rd Avenue located west of 1st Street West and all of 3rd Street West located north of 3rd Avenue (Best Case Scenario). If certain other water main valves don’t function properly, then the entire Town could potentially be shut down (Worst Case Scenario).

Anyone who loses all water pressure during this planned shutdown will be subject to a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory. We encourage all residents to stockpile water before 9:00 A.M., Monday, July 12th in the event of a Worst Case Scenario. The plan is to have all 3 valves changed out and the water turned back on all on the same day. Thank you for bearing with us as we perform these very necessary repairs.
