COUNCIL HIGHLIGHTS
Town Council held a regular meeting on June 14, 2022.
A water meter will be purchased to record water usage at the new splash park.
A $1,000 donation will be made to the Delisle Royal Canadian Legion earmarked for improvements to the cenotaph and surrounding area.
Town Council accepted the quote of $112,675.22, taxes included, submitted by Shercom for the provision of 4′ x 4,758′ of rubber surfacing for the walking paths in Harold Worth Park. The Town will receive a grant of $85,415 from the Canada Community Revitalization Fund towards this project.
The Town has purchased a new metal stage. The old wooden stage has been donated to the Delisle Rodeo Committee.
The regular meeting for the month of July, 2022 will be changed to July 5th at the Delisle Town Office commencing at 7:00 p.m.
An amendment to the Traffic Bylaw was passed that will reduce the speed limit by the splash park and in the new ball diamond area to 10 km/hour.

2022/23 ARENA CONCESSION LEASE
Proposals will be accepted until July 29th, 2022 for the lease of the rink concession for the 2022/23 season. Please state monthly lease amount willing to pay and reasons why your proposal should be accepted. A sample lease agreement is available at the Town Office or at www.townofdelisle.com. DELISLE PLAYSCHOOL
Delisle Playschool registration is now open!
If you have a child who will be 3 before December 31, 2022 and/or 4 years old at home, you are eligible to register! Children must be able to use the washroom independently.
Delisle Playschool is a non-profit organization run by a board of volunteer parents. We offer small classes, a positive and safe environment for your child and our teacher follows the Play and Exploration guidelines for early learning.

GOLF CARTS ON PUBLIC STREETS AND LANES
Persons operating a golf cart on a public street or lane must have a valid driver’s license and must be using the golf cart for the sole purpose of transporting to and from the golf course using the shortest and most direct route between the golf course and the place where the golf cart is being stored. Golf carts are not meant to be used as a general means of transportation within Town limits. These rules must be strictly followed or this privilege may be revoked.
