COUNCIL HIGHLIGHTS

Town Council held a regular meeting on Sept. 12th.

The following committee changes were made:

Personnel – Winder (Chairman), Brunett, Worth

Recreation Facility Management – Brunett (Chairman), Alkestrup, Cisecki

The Tax Lien List was approved and authenticated and will be advertised in the “Clark’s Crossing Gazette” newspaper.

We now accept etransfer for any type of payment!

Please state clearly in the memo section:
1. The name on the account or invoice.
2. What type of payment it is (e.g. taxes, utilities, ice rental, hall rental, etc.).
3. Your account number, if applicable.

ONLINE BANKING

Customers of all the major Canadian financial institutions have access to the online banking services for property taxes and water & sewer accounts. Please use your 7-digit roll number for taxes and your 8-digit account number for water & sewer.


NEWSLETTER SUBMISSIONS

Please have all submissions sent in by the 25th of the month. You can email submissions for the newsletter to mc.delisle@sasktel.net. Only community-based notices will be accepted.

  • Please call ahead to ensure the office is open as from time to time there are unscheduled closures.

COMPOST

Pick-up will be October 10th & October 24th for COMPOST & GARDEN WASTE.

Garden waste will be collected during compost pickup without any need to package the garden waste.  The Town will collect garden waste provided it is in a convenient area in the back alley.  This service is for garden waste only.

Compost will be picked up in the back alley and should be in a 17-gallon capacity plastic or metal can.  Grass clippings must still be in an open container that can be easily dumped.  If you do not have back alley access, compost may be placed on the front street.

THE DELISLE SENIOR CITIZENS’ CLUB


SNOW REMOVAL

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 30/23 for the annual contract position of snow removal for the Delisle Seniors Centre.  For a list of duties and to tour the facility, contact Ellen Fraser 306-290-7052 or Deb Winder 306-717-5352 or email delisleseniors@sasktel.net. CANADIAN FLAG PROJECT 

A committee has been formed to erect a 35 ft. pole, close to the “new” Town of Delisle sign. A 4.5 ft. by 9.0 ft. Canadian flag will fly on top!

Donations for this patriotic idea will be accepted at the Town Office.

Donation suggestion is anything up to $300.
